Suits & jackets
- Dry-clean
- Hang to rest
- Iron low
- Do not wash
- Hang on a broad, shaped hanger so the shoulders keep their line.
- Give it a day’s rest between wears — the cloth recovers overnight.
- Brush after wearing instead of washing; steam to lift creases.
- Dry-clean sparingly — a few times a year is usually enough.
Trousers
- Dry-clean
- Hang to rest
- Iron low
- Hang by the hem, or fold along the crease over a padded bar.
- Empty the pockets so the line falls cleanly.
- Press through a damp cloth to keep the crease sharp without shine.
- Clean with the matching jacket so the colour ages evenly.
Shirts
- Wash 30–40°
- No tumble dry
- Iron medium
- Hang to rest
- Wash at 30–40°C, inside out, with collar stays removed.
- Skip the tumble dryer — dry on a hanger in the shade.
- Iron while slightly damp, collar and cuffs first.
- Keep whites with whites so they stay bright.
Travel & storage
- Air out

- Dry-clean
- Hua Hin is humid: store in a breathable cotton garment bag, never plastic.
- Let a garment air for an hour before putting it away.
- For travel, fold a jacket inside out at the shoulders, or use a garment bag.
- Cedar blocks in the wardrobe help keep moths away.

Once we have your measurements, a new order can begin with a message. Tell us what you’d like made, choose your cloth with our guidance, and we help arrange overseas delivery, subject to availability and shipping requirements.

After your fitting.
What if my garment needs adjusting after I collect it?
Tell us as soon as you can — in the shop at the Night Market or on WhatsApp at +66 81 209 8909 — and we’ll look at it with you.
Can you alter clothes that weren’t made by Alta?
Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Do you keep my measurements?
Yes — we keep a record so your next order starts from your fit.
Can I order again once I’m back home?
Yes — we welcome clients from around the world and offer assistance with future orders and overseas delivery arrangements, subject to availability and shipping requirements.
How should I store a suit in Hua Hin’s humidity?
Use a breathable cotton garment bag rather than plastic, let the suit air before putting it away, and keep it on a broad, shaped hanger. See the full care guide.
